Zambia - South Luangwa National Park - Wildlife Camp
Wildlife Camp
Wildlife Camp is situated on land owned by The Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia, and they donate 60% of all the accommodation and camping fees to the Society, which in return supports the wildlife and people of the Luangwa Valley and Zambia. Its owners, Herman & Patsy Miles, together with their three children, provide a warm welcoming family environment.
The accommodation offers camping facilities, safari tents and en-suite chalets, including larger, family-size, chalets. All have a veranda either overlooking a lagoon area or the beautiful Luangwa River itself, a bar and excellent restaurant completing the picture. The Warthogs bar provides an excellent location for enjoying a sundowner with one of the best views in the Valley.
Activities are entirely voluntary, and guests are as likely to relax around the pool as to undertake game viewing, walking safaris, night drives and the like. In particular, guests are encouraged to experience a walking safari ending up at the Wildlife bush camp, a true bush experience with long drop loos, bucket shower and an open campfire.
High season rate: £103 per person per night.
