The Puku Ridge tented camp, is small and intimate, built unobtrusively in the heart of the Zambian bush. Each of the six comfortably furnished safari tents are impeccably furnished. All have four-poster beds, a lounge area, shower, toilet, and bath plus the novelty of an outdoor shower, truly a great way to cool down after a hot and dusty game drive.
Each tent is built with its own private terrace and blessed with wonderful views of the surrounding flood plains. This is an ideal spot for guests to spend a quiet afternoon watching the world go past.
Puku Ridge (named after the ubiquitous Puku antelope) has a superb rustic charm, which can be attributed to the camp's location, one of the few camp situated inside the South Luangwa National Park, and the fact that the camp does not intrude on the surrounding area, since much of the natural vegetation has been left as undisturbed as possible.
The camp comprises a comfortable living and dining area, a viewing deck and swimming pool. Puku Ridge really is an oasis of civilisation in the middle of nowhere.
