Zambia - South Luangwa National Park - Flatdogs Camp
Flatdogs Camp
Flatdogs Camp, directly overlooking the Luangwa River, is the closest camp to the entrance to the South Luangwa National Park, giving maximum driving time within the Park, in addition to unrivalled views of the Luangwa River itself.
Its accommodation offers camping facilities, safari tents and en-suite chalets. A family chalet enables families with children to be readily accommodated, and the wonderful Jackal-Berry Tree House, situated on high decking overlooking a natural lagoon favoured by elephant and giraffe, also takes four guests in two twin bedrooms separated by a lounge/decking area.
A well-stocked bar, a restaurant offering some of the best food in South Luangwa together with a substantial swimming pool, completes the picture. Flatdogs also provides internet access and satellite TV.
Flatdogs’ philosophy is to offer guests complete freedom. Meals can be taken when you want, and with whom you want, selecting from an extensive menu. Alternatively you can self-cater if you wish. Activities are entirely voluntary, and guests are as likely to relax around the pool as to undertake game viewing, walking safaris, night drives and the like.
High season rate: £105 per person per night.
